has anyone tried malting there own barley? I can get lots of it and fresh hops are next door thanks Ed

Hello again,Ed. Where are you? I make my own beer but I have to buy my malted barley prepackaged. Man, I'd love to be next door to you.

Fog I live in the evertaxed state of washington near the columbia river in the hot desert if it wasnt for Irragtion it would go back to it here we grow the nations hops, apples ment and other fruits I was raised on a fruit ranch we raised pears, peaches apracots and Italian prunes Im going to sow barley in the tobacco field and garden after harvest for ground cover and happy happy beer Ed I'll post a pic of one of the hundreds of hop fields next
