Winnate 93 you wouldn't happen to of been born on December 18, 1992 making you just 14 & currently in full time education at Pierz Healy High, Pierz, Minnesota, United States because that would mean you are not allowed to join this forum for another 3 years & within Minnesota, the legal age to consume alcoholic beverages is 21 meaning it would be 6 years before you could drink any of this alcohol you want to make.

Once upon a time everyone had something called privacy then one day in 1990 Tim Berners-Lee and Robert Cailliau invented the world wide web as a result of their invention nobody has any privacy anymore hence the reason I can identify you locate your address & numerous other bits of information about you & your family in less than a minute.
You are too young to be a member of this forum I suggest you unsubscribe from it & rejoin in about 3 years time when you turn 18. You may want to think more carefully about your other activities on the internet too if your parents were pointed in the right direction then they would be able to see what you are posting here & the 516 posts you have made on another forum discussing your use of cannabis.
I am not familiar enough with American law to answer your question about making it & I can't be bothered looking it up. But I can tell you if you just ferment sugar & water you only get alcohol you need to do more than that to produce anything worth drinking.

Making it underage IS against the law in the US. A minor can not possess it once made either. The ingrediants are legal but once you start yer screwed. So the simplest way is to wait until yer of legal age! The kid is right...that was a scary response though.

That response was followed up by some advice on how to browse the internet more safely without making too much personal information easily availiable. A scary response would of been if I had posted his full name, address and phone number along withe the names ages etc... of his mother, father (deceased), stepfather, sisters & brother. I only posted publicly availiable information which anyone who has access to an internet search engine could turn up very quickly. Just enough to make him & any other children thinking about joining the forum rethink the idea. Listing the more personal information not publicly availiable would of been irresponsible hence the reason I didn't do it.
Perhaps this will be an effective deterrant to prevent minors from joining this forum in the first place rather than them joining then having their membership cancelled when they are identified as being minors.
Although he said he unsubscribed before he got membership of this forum cancelled by an administrator it obviously didn't do much good in his case as he went straight to another homebrew forum, lied about his age when someone queried him, got a request for advice on distillation turned down then requsted a recipe for hard cider & was given a recipe for apfelwein when he asked how to scale the recipe down to 2 litres or less & the moderator's response was "Google pruno and do not post anymore nonsense here please." So he probably won't last long on there either but he already has the information needed to make 5 gallons of 8.5%ABV apfelwein at a total cost of $18.79.
Which was the better outcome a child getting a scare & advice on how to stay safe on the net or them getting the information on how to produce a load of cheap alcoholic drinks for them & their friends to consume?

I know the recipie for alcohol I gave dosen't taste nice, There was method in my madness as the alcohol content can't get high enough to hurt anyone.

That is probably the best way to handle it. As the parent of 3, all under 18, I watch their internet activity like a hawk. Scary stuff out there. Just have to pick up the local paper to hear about nasty stuff going on with kids on the internet. My kids watch me and helped me homebrew and now growing tobbaco, but they are informed and know it is not for them. So far none of them seem interested in the final product. It is just something to do with Dad at this point. Too bad that kids parents aren't more involved in what their lil darling is up to.
