Seems they almost double in size every hot and humid day. Seems to come back fine later in the day though. If it's green and growing I wouldn't fix it lol . Plus some wilting is very normal in a baccer plant thats growing fast . So long as it is Green , Growing and perks up in the evening you are fine . Bought a cheapy soil test kit just to prove to a coworker that sandy soil is alkaline. It read high on ph(alkaline) and also phosphorous and potash. Nitrogen was very low but the plants seem fine. We see that now and then in the baccer fields here but it usually doesn't amount to much damage. Could also be from just to much moisture in the soil. As long as that bud in the top lives it will make baccer. Very seldom will those bottom leaves make it until haevest anyhow.
