I was surprised how frost tollerent it has been. We croped about 20 burley stalks and split-hung them about 5 weeks ago when they were around 5ft tall, and already have 24-30 inch plants. Just yesterday I primmed about anouther 4 cubic feet of stacked leaves when I thought it was going to die. I think I will stick to priming next year not really happy with the stalk hung leaves.
